Nowadays the biggest problem faced by domestic and oversea manufacturers is to streamline the various product developments. The problem is like these: on one hand, the lifetime of products shrinks and product structures become more and more complicated; on the other hand, like in Europe, some products related environmental law is coming out continuously and bringing large problems for product development.
To solve the problem, factors as environment, business patterns, and production process must be taken into consideration and then construct successful product lifetime management platform (PLM).
